Developer tool
mergetrain
Integrate parallel coding-agent branches in order, and verify the combined result.

Parallel work, ordered integration
mergetrain is a local-first Git integration tool for coding agents working in separate worktrees.
It queues committed branches, assembles them in an isolated integration worktree, and runs configured checks against the combined result before an approved push.
When it helps
Use it when several coding agents work in separate Git worktrees and you need one place to combine and check their changes before pushing. For a single agent on one branch, ordinary Git may be enough.
Built for local workflows
- Ordered integration of parallel branches
- Configurable checks before pushing
- Recovery for interrupted pushes
- Works with different coding agents and ordinary Git workflows
mergetrain is an owner-operated utility, not a hosted CI service. Git permissions and the checks you configure remain part of the setup.
Get started
Start with the one-minute demo in the README. It uses a disposable repository and a local test remote to show queueing, combined checks, and recovery without changing your project.
Installation instructions are in the GitHub README. The package is also available on PyPI.
